STRUT AMERICA LLC is now holding national auditions in six cities throughout the USA. We are seeking 24 models between the ages 17-30 years, male and female looking for an opportunity of a lifetime. STRUT AMERICA is a unique fashion show that incorporates fashion, drama and dance. This outstanding production struts for a cause. Strut has been one of the most popular fashion/drama productions in Tulsa, OK for five years, produced by Selah Productions. Tiara Crawford, founder and fashion designer of Selah Companies produces a handmade clothing line Selah Couture . The show educates, builds awareness the various depilating diseases. She struggles daily with Endometriosis.
STRUT AMERICA not only provides one of the most exciting fashion shows in the country. However the mission is to STRUT for a cause and working together to unite for a cure. Auditions begin November 14, 2009 in Tulsa, OK at Woodland Hills Mall. We will host auditions in Dallas, TX at Grapevine Mills in January 2010, Houston, TX at the Galleria Houston in February, Atlanta, GA at Lennox Mall in March, Los Angeles, CA at Laguna Hills in April 2010.

There will be a weeklong training camp and final try ou ts for the making of the troupe, will be taped. The camp will be held in Tulsa, OK in May 2010. The STRUT showcase wil l be in Nashville, TN June 5, 2010 the show will be televised. There will be 24 people selected for the troupe. However there will be one overall winner who most exemplifies and represents their cause will win $25,000.00, as well as $25,000.00 for their charity.
The STRUT AMERICA Troupe selected will tour and represent both ExcellStyle Magazine and Privacywear for the year 2010-2011.
Each candidate can register and select a city of choice. Please provide a head shot or picture and the time of registration. If you don't have a photo one will be provided for a nominal fee. There is a onetime $35.00 registration fee at the time of sign. All registries are required to report to the city mall location 30 mins prior to auditions. A disease that Tiara S. Crawford, founder of the Selah Companies , struggles with daily. The goal of STRUT is to become the City Founder for the Tulsa Endometriosis Cure Center!
What Is Endometriosis?
Endometriosis is an extremely painful and life altering disease that effects nearly over 7 million women in the U.S. and Canada alone. Endometriosis may be considered hereditary due to the undeniable fact that most mothers and daughters of the same family share the disease. Endometriosis occurs when tissue from the endometrium, or lining of the uterus, grows outside the uterus, where it is not suppose to grow. But treating the endometrial tissue - or even removing the entire uterus - does not always relieve a patient's pain. Due to unresolved Endometriosis that has pursued into interstitial cystitis (IC - a persisting symptom of Endometriosis even after a hysterectomy), the source of most chronic pelvic pain, and a normal life becomes abnormal, and a life of pain often becomes either tolerated or ran away from. Sadly but true, this pain is cured by many as a means to an end in the form of suicide. Because Endometriosis is clinically incurable, and widely unheard of, the alarming and disturbing rate of depression and suicide attempts and successes are unbelievable. Patients with unresolved, chronic or persistent Endometriosis or IC often report symptoms of chronic pain, usually in the pelvic area or lower back, bipolar-like moods wings, painful urination, especially during their periods, pain during and after sex, painful or heavy periods, painful bowel movements during menstruation, fatigue, and a host of related symptoms due to untreated endometrial tissue damage, scaring, and/or blockage. The symptoms of Endometriosis may be different for every woman, but usually result in the inability of child birth for most. The CEO/Founder of the Selah Companies, Tiara S. Crawford and her mother have both lived a very painful life with Endometriosis, and can testify to the pelvic pains that are equivalent to labor contractions, the mood swings, depression due to the 'out of the blue' imbalance in hormones, the fear of becoming barren or miscarriage, along with the personal life struggle of holding down jobs even with a degree and an impeccable resume but losing them because of the debilitating pain and symptoms of this horrible disease that no one else seems to know about, understand, or even care to deal with. It has become a personal life mission for CEO, Tiara S. Crawford to fight against Endometriosis with every dime and inner strength she is able to muster, in order to bring attention and awareness to this horrible disease, so that more women can receive certain suitable types of disability, income assistance, paid medication, and extended absences on their jobs. Moreover, all of Tiara's efforts go into the great hopes of finding a cure for Endometriosis before her futuristic unborn daughter has to entertain the gruesome pain jaded thought of life or death while lying on the bathroom floor. The hand sign and saying of STRUT, the Annual Endometriosis Fashion Benefit, is "ONE MORE NIGHT." This means one more night of endurance, one more night to fight pain, one more night to choose to live!
